Hi there!

Let me introduce myself.

My name is Pocahontas.

My name sounds like a character straight out of a children’s book, right? Well, that is the name my parents gave me at birth. My imagination has been running wild, creating stories for as long as I can remember. As a teenager, my best friend and I used to sit on the porch letting our imaginations run wild. She always told me I’d be an author. Her prayers and well wishes for me came true. I’m a writer now! A real-life published author! If only she could be here to read my first book. I’m sure she is one of my biggest fans, cheering me on from stands in heaven. After many years of letting my stories live in my head rent-free, I decided in 2021 to allow them to come to life in the world of words on paper with all the other crazy things happening in the real world during the COVID-19 pandemic.
