Inside the book - The flowers in the shop

The shop’s delivery man overheard the exchange and laughed non-stop. He laughed so hard his packages dropped. Then he yelled across the room, “I bet a man could walk to the moon before those orchids sprout and bloom.”

Back cover of The flowers in the shop

Flowers have a secret superpower that not many people know bout; flowers can brighten someone’s day when they are feeling down. But, one group of flowers, the orchids, didn’t love themselves enough to grow. They thought they were ugly and that no one would want to buy them! The orchids start to shed their insecurity after the other flowers tell them to focus on their happy feelings. But, will they? You’ll want to have this book in your collection to read again and again. Just wait until you see what happens to the little flower at the end! This story sprouts seeds that flowers are nature’s prizes, and they, like people, grow in all shapes, colors, and sizes.
